Serving Ada
Drive time from our Grand Rapids base: roughly 15-20 minutes east on the M-21 / Fulton corridor. We are in Ada constantly through the fall, and the properties out here are why we do a real on-site design instead of selling packages.
The design problem in Ada is distance. A roofline that looks great from the sidewalk in a city neighborhood can disappear on a property where the house sits well off the road behind hardwoods. So we design for the actual sightline - where your guests turn in, where the house first becomes visible, what the front elevation looks like from the end of the drive. Sometimes that means the roofline is the smaller part of the plan and the tree uplighting and drive markers are doing the heavy lifting.
Custom-cut, clip-hung, no holes. Every strand is measured and cut to your specific runs. Attachment is all-clip to shingle, gutter, and fascia - nothing stapled, nailed, or glued to your house. On the newer Forest Hills builds with detailed trim and stone, we plan attachment around the material.
Outbuildings count. Pole barns, detached garages, guest houses, and gatehouse structures are normal parts of an Ada plan. So are the trees. If it is on the property and you want it lit, it goes in the design.
Takedown and storage included. January into February, we pull everything down and store your labeled strands at our facility until next year.
What we do here
- Holiday roofline lighting on main house and outbuildings
- Permanent LED lighting - year-round, app-controlled
- Tree uplighting and canopy wraps for mature hardwoods
- Driveway and entry accent lighting
- Wreaths, garland, and column wraps
- Takedown, storage, and next-season re-hang
Permanent lighting on a property this size
Ada is one of our strongest permanent-lighting markets, and the reason is the trees. On a wooded lot, a permanent LED roofline gives the house a defined edge year-round - you can actually see the architecture on a dark evening instead of a dark shape behind branches. Add the app control and the house handles every occasion without anyone getting on a ladder: warm white as the standing look, holiday colors in December, team colors on a Saturday.
For a property where a ladder means a two-story reach over landscaping and uneven ground, "never do this yourself again" is not a small selling point.
